Support
Last updated: September 9, 2026
This is the official support page for both games published by Joshua Howard, trading as Palindrome Games:
- Puff Pals Dance Party Merge, which appears as “Puff Pals Merge” under its icon on your Home Screen
- Puff Pals Slumber Party, which appears as “Puff Pals Match” under its icon on your Home Screen
Everything below applies to both games unless it names one.
Get in touch
I read every message myself and usually reply within seven business days.
To get a useful answer on the first reply, please include:
- Which game you are writing about.
- Your device — for example iPhone 14, iPad Air.
- Your iOS version — Settings → General → About → Software Version.
- The app version — shown in the game’s main menu, next to the title at the top.
- What happened, and what you expected instead.
- A screenshot or screen recording, if the problem is something you can see.
Common questions
Do I need an internet connection?
Not to play. Both games run entirely on your device. A connection is only needed to load a rewarded ad, if you choose to watch one.
Do I need an account?
No. Neither game has accounts or sign-in, and you are never asked to register. Both use Apple’s Game Center, which signs in with the Apple Account already on your device — and both are fully playable if you decline it.
My progress disappeared.
All game data — scores, achievements, saved game, Treats and unlocked items — is stored locally on your device only. It is not backed up to any server of mine. Deleting and reinstalling a game erases it permanently, and it cannot be recovered. Purchases are the exception: see “I bought something and it is gone” below.
How do I erase my progress on purpose?
Settings → Reset progress inside the game clears that device: scores, achievements, Treats, your charge meter and any game in progress. It does not reach Game Center — achievements you have already earned there, and in Puff Pals Slumber Party any scores you have posted, are held by Apple and are kept. Clear those in iOS Settings → Game Center.
How do I turn off the sound or the vibration?
In-game Settings has a Sound toggle and a Haptics toggle.
The game crashes or will not launch.
Confirm you are on the latest version of the game and of iOS, then restart your device. If it keeps happening, email me with your device model and iOS version and I will look into it.
Purchases
I bought something and it is gone.
Open the Store screen in the game and tap Restore Purchases. That asks Apple what you own and reapplies it. Packs of Treats are consumable — they are spent when you use them and are not restored; anything permanent you bought is.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by me — I never see your payment details and cannot issue one. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com using the Apple Account that made the purchase. If something did not arrive in the game, email me too and I will help sort out what happened.
How do I stop purchases being made on this device?
iOS Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions can disable in-app purchases entirely.
Ads
Why am I being shown an ad?
You are not, unless you accept one. No ad ever plays on its own: one runs only after you take an offer of something in return — extra Treats, doubling a reward you have just earned, or, in Puff Pals Dance Party Merge, carrying on after a game that would otherwise have ended (with a reduced jar). There are no banner ads, no pop-up ads, and no ads between rounds. Decline every offer and you will never see one.
Can I make the ads less personalized?
Yes. iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking controls whether apps may use your advertising identifier. Turn it off for the game and every ad request is marked non-personalized. You can also turn tracking prompts off entirely there.
I am in the EU or UK and want to change my consent answers.
Google’s consent form appears before the first ad and stores your answers on your device. Deleting and reinstalling the game clears them, and the form is shown again — along with everything else, so your progress goes too.
Where the two games differ
Most support answers are the same for both. These are not:
| DANCE PARTY MERGE | SLUMBER PARTY | |
|---|---|---|
| Do my scores leave the device? | No — scores are kept on your device only | Yes — finished runs post to the all-time, weekly and daily Game Center boards |
| Watch an ad to carry on after a game ends | Yes — with a reduced jar | No |
| Cosmetic Looks to unlock and equip | Yes | No |
Privacy
The privacy policy covers both games and explains exactly what each one does and does not collect, what Google’s advertising software collects, and how to delete anything held about you.
